Second Annual Culinary Night At Kegel’s Produce

Next Generation of Lancaster returned to Kegel’s Produce for the Second Annual Culinary Night, once again bringing together great food, meaningful networking, and genuine community connection in front of a sold-out crowd. Guests enjoyed dishes crafted by featured chefs Michael Kambouroglos of Souvlaki Boys Grill, Rachel Adams of Rachel’s Creperie & Cafe, Jim Switzenberg of John Wright Restaurant, and Andrew Sharpe of Philthygood, each sharing not only their culinary talents but also their personal stories and the passion behind their craft. Between the tastings and the conversations they sparked, the night was a reminder of just how much culinary talent calls Lancaster home.

Film Industry Night: Stores Behind The Screen

Lancaster’s creative scene got a rare spotlight when Next Generation of Lancaster brought “Film Industry Night: Stories Behind the Screen” to Penn Cinema in Lititz. The evening paired networking with real industry insight, giving attendees the chance to hear directly from local film professionals working across production, development, and festival programming.

Moderated by Ryan Shank, Executive Director of the Red Rose Film Festival, the panel featured Sara McClure of Reverie, Derek Dienner of MAKE/FILMs, and Catlin Baksa of LampHouse. Between the Q&A and the conversations that spilled out afterward, the night made one thing clear: Lancaster’s film community is bigger, and more connected, than most people realize.

Beyond Networking-Plain & Fancy Restaurant

There’s a different energy to an evening built around genuine community connection and this one at Plain and Fancy Restaurant delivered it in spades. Hosted in partnership between Next Generation of Lancaster and Career Ready Lancaster, the gathering centered on “Beyond Networking: Creating Meaningful Connections in Your Community,” featuring keynote speaker Mike Reynolds, CEO of the Lancaster Stormers.

Set against the charming backdrop of Lancaster County farm country, the evening struck the right note from the start: relaxed enough for real conversation, purposeful enough to feel like something worth showing up for. It was local leaders and rising professionals learning how small talk turns into real, lasting community ties.

Ville At The Mill

There’s something special about returning to the place that shaped you — and last week’s Ville at the Mill captured exactly that feeling. Hosted in partnership between Millersville University and Next Generation Lancaster, the evening brought together graduates from the last decade for a night of genuine connection, local pride, and a reminder of just how much talent this corner of Pennsylvania produces.

The outdoor setting struck the right note from the start: relaxed enough for real conversation, energetic enough to feel like something was happening. This wasn’t a stiff name-tag affair — it was neighbors catching up, former classmates reconnecting, and a community quietly celebrating itself.

Nonprofit Leadership Night at Decades Lancaster

An evening of impact and connection brought young professionals together for Nonprofit Leadership Night at Decades Lancaster. Guests heard insights from local nonprofit leaders, with WGAL 8 news anchor Jacob Hall leading an engaging panel on community impact and leadership.

All proceeds from the event went directly to the participating nonprofits.
