Award-winning journalist and former professional athlete with 20+ years covering the stories that matter most. Barbara Barr has reported for ABC 27, WGAL, and Lancaster Independence, bringing audiences inside Presidential Elections, the Jerry Sandusky and Bill Cosby trials, and U.S. Open Women’s Golf Championships. Her career has taken her from Portland and Boston — where she covered the Patriots, Red Sox, and Olympic athletes — to her hometown of Lancaster, PA. A three-time Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame inductee, Barbara also made history playing professional basketball in London. She serves on Hall of Fame boards and supports the Salvation Army of Lancaster, and is proud to be part of the Next Gen community.
