Full Bio:

An accomplished nonprofit executive, national speaker, and community leader with more than 20 years of experience transforming organizations and improving the lives of individuals and families. As Executive Director of Mental Health America of Lancaster County, she has led the organization through a remarkable period of growth, launching the organization’s first multi-county expansion, and establishing the Mental Health America of Lancaster County Foundation.

Known for building innovative programs and forging meaningful partnerships, Kim has secured transformational philanthropic investments and collaborated with healthcare systems, businesses, government leaders, foundations, and community organizations throughout Lancaster, Lebanon, and York Counties to create lasting community impact. Her work focuses on removing barriers to mental wellness by developing sustainable, person-centered programs that connect people with the education, advocacy, and support they need to thrive.

A respected voice in nonprofit leadership and mental health advocacy, Kim is a sought-after speaker who has presented at international, national, state, and local conferences on leadership, collaboration, nonprofit growth, and mental health innovation. She serves on the Executive Board of Mental Health America Pennsylvania, the WellSpan East Region Hospital Board, the Governance Board of Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital, and several other community organizations dedicated to improving health and well-being.

Kim earned her bachelor’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Psychology from Millersville University and is completing Executive Leadership studies through Harvard Kennedy School. While she has received numerous awards recognizing her leadership and community service, she considers her greatest accomplishment to be her family—as the proud mother of four children and grandmother of four grandchildren. Her leadership is grounded in the belief that lasting change happens when vision is paired with collaboration, compassion, and the courage to innovate.
