Full Bio:
I am a native of Pittsburgh who came to Lancaster to attend Millersville University, where I earned a degree in Sociology and Criminology. That same year, I began my career at the Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster as a part-time Camp Counselor. It was there that I discovered my passion for service, community, and the vital importance of inclusion. Over the years, I held a variety of roles within the organization, served on community boards, and remained actively engaged in community events and experiences that shaped both my leadership and my perspective.
In 2011, I became CEO of the Club, and in 2015, I earned my MBA from Elizabethtown College. Balancing life as a single mother, pursuing an advanced degree, working full time, and serving as an active community leader has given me a deep appreciation for the challenges others face. I am proud of what our organization has learned and grown from both the wins and the losses, the challenges and the successes. Above all, I am proud that we are able to provide afterschool care without barriers of cost or paperwork for families. I believe that the more positive role models we place in front of our youth, the brighter their future will be.
