Coaching, Leadership, and the Growth Mindset
Two veteran coaches and an experienced reporter joined the Next Generation of Lancaster to share lessons on leadership, learning, and influence — but the real impact came from the stories of former players and young professionals they inspired. This event proved that mentorship is never one-way; great leaders are lifelong learners.

Hempfield basketball coach Danny Walck and McCaskey football coach Todd Mealy offered insights on teamwork, preparation, and passion at a Next Generation of Lancaster forum, moderated by Barbara Barr. Young professionals gained guidance on leadership from two of the top coaches in the Lancaster-Lebanon League.
