Reviving the Dream: A New Vision for Wellness, Food, and Freedom

Please introduce yourself. Tell us who you are and what lights you up in the wellness space.
My name is Jordyn Ney, and I feel deeply about nutrition as the spark that will revitalize the American Dream. I’ve always been passionate about politics and have long felt that there’s something uniquely special about this country. Namely, that you can come here and do anything you want because we have the freedom to pursue our passions.
Yet too often, that dream is forgotten. Unrealized. Dare I say dead. Why? Our food system.
We are fueled to fail in this country. We’re inundated with ultra-processed food that robs our cells of the nutrients they need. When our cells aren’t properly fueled, we feel sick, unmotivated, and uninspired. This leads to a “just trying to get by” mentality instead of dreaming big and pursuing our true purpose.
I believe the missing link to revitalizing both body and soul, and allowing us to live out our American Dream, lies in reimagining the food system: creating a regionalized model built on nutrient-dense, whole foods sourced from local regenerative farmers. Food that fuels our mitochondria, our energy, and our purpose.
So what lights me up? Helping people realize that they can create their ideal lives by eating the kind of food our ancestors would be proud of — food free from artificial dyes, emulsifiers, and chemicals. And in doing so, supporting our farmers and strengthening our local economies.
What is your mission within the modern wellness movement, and how do you hope to inspire others through your work?
My mission is to educate my community about the transformative power of nutrient-dense, whole foods and how that power can change the way people show up in the world—more energized and revitalized to pursue their true calling.
I hope my personal health and fitness journey serves as a source of inspiration. I hope to be a living example of what’s possible: a reminder that your ideal body, mind, and soul are cultivated through a life rooted in wellness, grounded by nutritious food, daily movement, consistent sleep, and abundant love for your community. My personal journey is proof of what’s possible when you commit to those principles.
How did your personal wellness journey begin? What experiences shaped your path toward intentional living?
Two years ago, I felt unfulfilled and deeply unconfident in my body. Post-college, I was lonely and unsure of my purpose. I craved intentionality but didn’t know where to start. So, I turned to fitness and nutrition: two things I could control.
I had long complained about my body but never took real action to change it. Then I found 75 Hard. For 75 days straight, I followed five rules that demanded mental toughness and consistency and they changed my life.
What began as a shallow pursuit to “feel better in my skin” evolved into a massive paradigm shift. I started to see wellness as the foundation for success and fulfillment. Through daily movement and a shift from the Standard American Diet to one of nutrient-dense whole foods, I transformed my body but the real transformation happened internally.
I began showing up with gratitude, energy, and mental clarity. I executed at a higher level and lived with greater intention. I started to love my body, my mind, and my soul and that confidence rippled into every aspect of my life.
I’m still on my journey, but I now know this truth: living in alignment with what our biology demands — sunlight, movement, micronutrients — is the key to creating your ideal life and unlocking true confidence.

What are you most passionate about when it comes to holistic wellness—whether that’s food, movement, environment, or mindset—and how do those passions fuel your purpose?
I am most passionate about our food system. I believe it is the most fundamental determinant of our collective wellness or our collective demise. If we fixed our food system, we would fix most of our societal issues in the process.
There is no reason the wealthiest nation in the world should fare worse than our peers in health outcomes. There is no reason we should feel so lethargic, unmotivated, anxious, and afraid when we have the potential for greatness.
These passions fuel my purpose because I love people. I love giving people a platform to be heard, seen, and inspired. Regionalizing the food system does exactly that. It empowers local farmers, keeps money in our communities, increases the nutrient density of our food, and fuels us to show up with confidence, energy, and purpose.
I want to revitalize the American Dream, and I believe our food system is the way to do it.

What core values or beliefs guide your daily life and work?
Values
Intentionality – Do everything with purpose and a clear sense of why. Know your values and act in alignment with them.
Congruency – My favorite word. There should be congruence between the person you say you want to be and the person you live as each day.
Consistency – One rep a day made me who I am. One rep doesn’t change anything — but consistent action over time forges identity, builds confidence, and strengthens self-trust.
Discipline – The key to success. It’s the choice to delay instant gratification for something far greater.
Beliefs
You are capable of creating the change you want to see in your life.
There is progress in pain.
Everything is a learning opportunity.
Mantra
This is it; this is the only life we get. Leave no cards on the table or risk looking back with regret at what could have been.
How do you see the different elements of wellness—body, mind, community, and planet—interacting to create true balance and vitality?
Our modern medical system breaks us into 42 body parts where there’s a specialist for everything. But as Dr. Casey Means teaches, we are not body parts. We are an interconnected ecosystem, built by the divine with intellect, free will, and agency.
The modern system is siloed, but we can’t pursue wellness that way. True health requires integration. Alignment of body, mind, community, and planet. The closer we live to our natural, ecological state and the more attuned we are to the universe, the better our chances of creating something meaningful with our lives.
Someone once told me, “Everything happens on purpose.” I’ve adopted that as a daily mantra.
What is one mindset shift or daily practice you’d share with someone beginning their own wellness journey?
You don’t have to know everything. You just have to be willing to take advice from people who’ve done what you aspire to do.
Starting your wellness journey can feel overwhelming. We are inundated with dogmatic, confusing information over social media that can ignite analysis paralysis and discourage getting started. But, you don’t have to be perfect. You do, however, have to be consistent. Your why must be strong enough to keep you going in the face of adversity.
Progress isn’t linear. It can feel like nothing is happening and then, suddenly, everything changes. One day you’ll look in the mirror and realize you’ve become the person you’ve always wanted to be. That transformation doesn’t happen overnight. It’s the result of thousands of small, consistent actions.
When I started, I had no idea what I was doing. I still learn something new every day. Find a plan rooted in common sense, not fads or extremes. Build discipline and consistency and results will follow.
How can we inspire and empower the next generation to pursue wellness in a more connected, sustainable way? What role do community gatherings and events like this play in that vision?
If you’re not healthy, nothing else matters. You can’t show up for yourself, your employer, your friends, or your family.
We are the first generation that may not outlive our parents. Chronic illness is at an all-time high. Mental health is declining. Trust in institutions is almost nonexistent. We’re operating within a system designed to make us sick and the greatest act of rebellion is to reclaim our health.
We can change the trajectory of our generation. We just have to remember that we’re all connected in one, beautiful interconnected ecosystem. The butterfly effect is real and every small act matters.
Community gatherings like this one create space for conversation, education, and connection. They remind us that wellness is integrated, and when we nurture that ecosystem together, we all rise stronger, more intentional, and more grateful for the beautiful universe.

Jordyn’s story is a call to action — to live with purpose, fuel your body with intention, and take back your power through everyday choices. Her vision for wellness extends beyond individual health; it’s about revitalizing our communities and reigniting the spirit of the American Dream. By showing up consistently, loving our bodies, and nourishing ourselves with real food, we can all play a part in creating a healthier, more connected, and more vibrant future.
