Faith, Family, and Foundations
Full Name, Role, Company, Origin
My name is Draven Michael Rodriguez. I am the Chief Executive Officer of Kravix Co., a licensed general contracting company based in Lancaster County. I was born and raised in Ephrata/Lititz, Pennsylvania, and Lancaster has always been home.

The Quick Story
I was introduced to construction at a young age. My grandfather owned and operated a powder-coating and manufacturing company, and I grew up watching what it meant to build something from the ground up. My father was an ironworker in the Philadelphia union, helping construct bridges and skyscrapers. Construction, engineering, and manufacturing were not just careers in my family, they were part of our values. In high school, I formally pursued that path through the Career and Technical Center’s manufacturing program and later entered the heavy-equipment program. I spent three and a half years studying and operating equipment, developing technical skill and discipline. Watching my grandfather build his business and later witnessing the circumstances that led to its loss in 2016, left a lasting impact on me. It taught me both the pride of entrepreneurship and the necessity of resilience. As I matured personally and professionally, I felt called to build something of my own. With faith as my foundation and my wife and daughter as my motivation, I established my own general contracting company, not just to build structures, but to build a legacy rooted in integrity and long-term impact.
Your Company Today
Kravix Co. is a young, disciplined construction firm built on humility, accountability, and a relentless drive for excellence. We believe long-term success is earned project by project, client by client. Today, we primarily focus on residential additions and interior renovations, including kitchens, bathrooms, and basement transformations. We also perform exterior improvements. Our goal is to manage the entire process, from permitting and planning to scheduling and procurement so clients can focus on their families while we deliver a clean, organized, and high-quality build.
What Separates You & What Quality Means
What separates us is our mindset and standards. While we are a young company, we operate with mature discipline and a strong sense of accountability. We are committed to continuous improvement and actively study leaders in the industry to refine our execution. We treat projects as partnerships, not transactions. Communication is consistent, expectations are clarified early, and decisions are made with long-term value in mind. Quality begins before the first tool is picked up. A professional job site is clean, organized, and safe. Materials are stored properly, walkways remain clear, and hazards are addressed immediately. Order creates efficiency, reduces risk, and builds trust. To us, quality is not a finish, it is a culture.
Biggest Challenge & Lesson
The biggest challenge has been taking the initial risk of starting the company. Launching a business while supporting a wife and child carries real weight. That responsibility forced me to mature quickly. Construction comes with long hours, uncertainty, and constant problem-solving. Those challenges have strengthened my discipline, patience, and resilience. I’ve learned that growth happens when you consistently choose the hard path, even when results are not immediate. True success is measured not only in revenue, but in the lives you impact and the example you set for your family.

A Typical Day
My day starts early with alignment and communication. I review active projects, schedules, and our lead pipeline to keep both execution and growth in view. I split time between job site walkthroughs and relationship-building meetings. Being present on site ensures quality control and accountability. Networking strengthens long-term opportunities and community ties. I dedicate part of each day to refining systems and improving operations. Continuous improvement is non-negotiable. Before the day ends, I reconnect with project leads to ensure each site is left clean, safe, and organized. Evenings are reserved for my wife and daughter, the foundation behind everything I am building.
What “Next Generation” Means
“Next Generation” carries deep meaning for me because I am part of Lancaster’s next generation. I have lived here my entire life. This is home. Professionally, it represents responsibility. I am building my company here because I want to help shape Lancaster’s future by restoring historical structures, creating new spaces, and leaving a positive and lasting impact. To me, being part of the next generation means stewardship. It means honoring the past while building responsibly for the future
Current Focus & Future Vision
Right now, my primary focus is strengthening the company’s foundation. I do that by refining systems, improving operational efficiency, and building a culture centered on accountability, safety, and craftsmanship. Growth must be structured and sustainable. We are investing in leadership, scheduling systems, safety procedures, and communication processes before scaling further. Over the next several years, I see the company becoming a recognized and trusted name in Lancaster for both residential and commercial construction. The goal is not just expansion in size, but expansion in impact, creating career opportunities and delivering projects that stand the test of time.
Life Outside Work
Outside of work, my time is centered on my family. My wife and daughter are my greatest priorities. We enjoy walking, hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors. Faith is also foundational. My wife and I are active members at St. Mary’s Church, which keeps us grounded and connected to something greater than ourselves. Something people might not know about me is how much I value challenge and adventure. I enjoy backpacking, hunting, fishing, and snowboarding. All of these are activities that push me mentally and physically while keeping me connected to nature.

Advice to Young Professionals
Focus on discipline before recognition. Credibility is earned through consistency, humility, and a willingness to start at the bottom. Do hard things early. Growth rarely happens in comfort. Surround yourself with people who are more experienced. Seek mentorship and stay committed to learning. Build with purpose. When your work is anchored in faith, family, and community, motivation becomes sustainable. Think long term. Prioritize systems, relationships, and reputation over quick wins. If you remain patient and committed to excellence, meaningful success becomes a byproduct of who you are, not just what you achieve.
